Chess Aplenty

Chess Aplenty is a chess variant where players can choose 3 new pieces to replace Rook, Bishop, and Knight.

Unlike classic chess, there is no checkmate (the King and the Queen must be captured) as well as no en passant or castling. But don't worry - because there are over 30+ new pieces to choose from every match, there's plenty of room for strategy.

What makes these pieces special? Well, every new piece in the game has a unique movement pattern or a special ability or both. This makes matches quick, full of strategy, and unlike any other match you have played before!

The game currently includes three game modes:

• Local Multiplayer: Two players can battle it out on the same device. 
• Singleplayer Mode: A single player can try out strategies against a (simple) bot. 
• Session-based Multiplayer: Two players can play against each other over the internet using the player-id of one of them to create a session and join it.

Once there are enough players, I will try to implement Online Multiplayer.

By the way, the game was made in Dart using the Flutter framework, so I'm really interested whether or not the quality can compare to a game made in a proper game engine.
